Jason, Lauren, Blake & Easton
It all started over 10 years ago in January 2002...wow that seems so long ago... Jason and I were at a church winter retreat, and a group of us were having a snowball fight. Suddenly I was whacked right in the face with a icy ball of snow. Once I had gotten over the initial shock, I opened my eyes, and at the young age of fourteen I met my husband. Yes, he accidentally hit me, but that is where we 'hit it off,' and the rest they say is history.
After over six years of dating, Jason and I were finally able to commit to one another in front of family and friends, and got married in May 2008 on a 104 degree day. I am so thankful for all the years we have spent together, and the fact that I got to marry my best friend.
In June 2012 our family of two grew to three, when little Blake Denver joined our family. What an amazing addition he has been. It has become hard to imagine life before he was a part of our family. We feel we have been truly blessed by this inquisitive, smiley little boy. It is amazing how more complete our family feels now that he is here to fill up our time, but more importantly our hearts.
In the summer of 2014 we welcomed another little baby boy into our family, Easton Wayne. He is such a sweet little addition to our family...of FOUR now.
We are both graduates from Corban University. Jason has also completed his Master's in Special Education from Portland State University. Jason is working at Kalapuya Elementary in the LRC, and I am part time teacher and a stay-at-home mom. We are loving this time in our lives, and enjoy learning with each day that comes. So thankful, and so blessed.
