Lauren and Jason Bernard
It all started 10 years ago...wow that seems so long ago... We were at a church winter retreat, and a group of us were having a snowball fight. Suddenly I was whacked right in the face with a icy ball of snow. Once I had gotten over the initial shock, I opened my eyes, and at the young age of fourteen I met my husband. Yes, he accidentally hit me, but that is where we 'hit it off,' and the rest they say is history.
After over six years of dating, Jason and I were finally able to commit to one another in front of family and friends in May 2008 on a 104 degree day. I am so thankful for all the years we have spent together, and the fact that I got to marry my best friend. This January it will be our "10 year" anniversary of being together as a couple.We also recently celebrated our four year wedding anniversary.
We are both graduates from Corban University, and are both working jobs in the education field. Recently we found out we are expecting our first baby. Our little baby boy is expected this coming July. We are looking forward to the challenges and excitement adding this new member to our little family.
Life may be busy, but we try hard to find time for our families, friends and each other.
