Christmas...

Christmas was so good this year...we got to spend time with family...got to set up Jason's Christmas Village in our own place for the first time...got to be the Bernard's for the first time ever...got to see Jason's suprised face when he opened the HDTV I got him for Christmas :)...got to see what "Santa" got us for the first time as a married couple...but most importantly, we got to celebrate God's gift of His son to us...that is what Christmas is truely about...all the rest were just little blessings along the way.

Student Teaching

Well...Jason and I have begun our official student teaching. Yesterday (Monday) was our first official day, and for the most part I think we both enjoyed ourselves. I am at Parish Middle School, and will be teaching five classes. One is a writing class, two are reading classes and the final two are basic Language Arts classes. The first three are pretty low level, but I think it will be a good learning experience. Jason is out at Silverton High School. He will be teaching American history and a couple other history courses too. I think the only thing he doesn't like about his placement so far is the long drive...

Our Christmas was really fun...busy but fun...I will post some pictures from our time that day when I get home, since I am writing this on my lunch break. :) It was so nice to get to spend Christmas together for the first time as a married couple...I love spending time with his family, and I know he feels the same about mine...now that they are the same too...:) well back to observing...
